We successfully completed the move to Riyadh in August and have been enjoying ourselves ever since! I was made Director of the Mathematics Program the first day on the job so have been doing that instead of some teaching. Dixie has gotten very busy doing consulting work for Harcourt Publishing Company, traveling around the Kingdom as well as other spots in the Middle East like Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Egypt. AND, the weather here is just superb, once you get past the 115's in the summer. Since October it's been 70 in the daytime and 40 to 50 at night, with sunny skies and light winds. Eat your heart out!! All for now. Oh, I'll have to be back teaching in September, so I won't be able to attend any of the events, but it certainly looks like fun.  2/18/01
