OTHER INFORMATION:
My career as a school secretary began at CCCHS in 1961 (our senior year). We were married in 1965 and lived in Clay Center until we moved to Missouri in 1969. After time off when our children were small, I worked for seven years in schools in Missouri. I began working for Olathe USD 233 when we moved to Olathe in 1977. Olathe is the 3rd largest school district in Kansas. In 1992 we moved to an attached home in a maintenance free area in Overland Park where we currently reside. I retired June 30, 2011 after working 34 years for the Olathe school district as secretary or administrative assistant, as executive assistant to superintendent, and as clerk for the Board of Education. It will seem strange not to be working for a school district when school begins this fall. (2011)
