As you can see by the photo I have changed very little since high school except the wings have been clipped a little. Anyway after operating rental property in Houston I moved on to the oil & gas industry in 1988. I have turned over active management to pursue my latest passions; my wife Cheryl (married in 1999) and I are collecting art. Recently I've decided to cut out the middle man and am learning to draw & paint. In addition I'm trying to maintain by participating in Senior Track---shot put, highjump & etc. Throughout the period I've traveled extensively to such places as Australia, Africa and the Greek Islands. Also, I'd like to thank Ray Frigon for putting this webpage together. 9-26-01

Updated 7-2-2006 When we meet at the reunion you will see that I've changed very little except the wings have been clipped. True story. Anyway, after living in Houston for approximately 30 years I fled with my lovely bride, Cheryl, to Cat Spring while relocating my oil companies to Sealy, TX. Once relocated, I turned over active management and began a career as a struggling artist. (See http://turnerchapmangallery.com for a sample of my works). The struggle continues. I also pursue Senior and Master's Track - shot put, high jump, etc. In addition, I oversee my Foundation's giving activities. It's hard to believe, but giving money away is more difficult than I envisioned. Since I have restless feet travel is usually on the agenda but Cheryl loves it here at Almosta Ranch. Eight dogs, three katz, 2 longhorns, 2 donkeys, 3 rabbits, 25 finches, 2 parrots, and one lonely hermit crab keep her busy and happy. Also a small herd of deer comes by daily for a handout. In addition Cheryl is making a valiant effort to reduce the number of unwanted pets in the world with her non-profit spay/neuter group, PUPS (Prevent Unwanted Pets). See you in the Fall!
